EMANATION
Chloe hopes to offer a warm shower of singable melodies, and refreshing energy with her ensemble Emanation. Chloe’s compositions draw on her nostalgic memories of growing up listening to gospel and classical music, whilst the overall narrative is informed by her experience composing solo drum set music (featured on two solo releases; ‘Right Turn’ (2019) and ‘How To Get Through’ (2021)).

RAIN PATTERNS
Emerged from the idea that the more female musicians actively involved in the Australian Jazz Community, the more positive inputs and new perspectives there will be to shape the current yet ever-changing music scene. Just as the windier and warmer a storm becomes, the more interesting and unique patterns, shapes, and sizes the rain begins to take on.

Chloe, Charlie and Jacques have been improvising with each other for as long as they’ve been close friends. The three-sided force of their friendship keeps them solid.
The trio's music represents this journey, through original compositions and unique improvisatory concepts. The process of trusting each other and bonding tightly reflects through music clearly.
